To attract a younger, Gen Z Japanophile audience, Japan Crate refreshed its brand in 2024 with bold graphics, custom art, and a design system optimized for collaborations with top IPs like One Piece, Assassin’s Creed, and Attack on Titan.

Figma Email Design System

With 50+ unique layout blocks optimized for light and dark modes, the email design system tripled production speed, enabling marketing teams to create on-brand emails without design support.

Website Refresh

Using a content block system with color variations and responsive elements, teams could easily create unique landing pages for campaigns, promotions, and influencers—without design support. Each ADA-compliant block ensured proper contrast, removing the need for toggles.
